I am trying to copy some of my jpg picture files to a cd using the drag to the disc feature. I tried to copy folders
and individual files. I get a dialog box that says Extended Error 0X80041024. What is this? Why can't they just tell you what the error is and what can be causing it. This always worked with my old Creator 6.

Drag to Disc (packet writing) was dropped a long time ago

XP has built in 'session writing' and both Vista and Windows 7 have built in packet writing

There is a knowledgebase article about that error HERE. Does this help you?
