I think I got the same error message, although it happened when I would click burn disc from inside MY DVD. I think it said error 80040207 error while encoding (but not menu - I could be wrong though). Anyway, it was frustrating because I had two mpg movies that I had created using emc7 / emc8. They would play fine in Video Wave, but when I went to burn them I got that error message every single time.

I had been clicking the "burn with my dvd express" button at the top of video wave, and the same thing was happening when I clicked 'file' then 'burn with my dvd express'

I just tried clicking 'File' then 'Send to My DVD' and my dvd burned without any error messages or problems.

I don't know why that would work and clicking the burn cd icon up top wouldn't, but it did.

Try that and see if it works, and in the meantime, maybe a Roxio Tech will see this and look into this issue.

I actually already have that version (Build 805B30B) and was getting that error message. The only thing that worked for me was to 'send it to my dvd' - and not 'burn with my dvd express'.

Maybe that will help the other person that I replied to though.

I was getting the same message by trying to do the same actions. The information provided here may help me. I will give it a try and let everyone know. I know that downloading the update did not help.
