Hello,
I'm having trouble with Creator DE 10.2 on Windows Vista.  I understand it's a Dell OEM bundle, but my Dell support contract ended 3 days ago and I'm stuck.

I have two issues which may be related:

1) When trying to add .cda tracks from either of my optical drives, Creator crashes.  Adding files (like mp3) from my hard drives works fine.
2) Creator doesn't recognize either of my optical drives.

As background:  at some point in the last year, I had troubles between iTunes and Roxio and issues with my upper and lower filters in the registry.  These issues were resolved (so I thought) by Dell tech support.  Except now, I can't get Roxio to run like I need it to.

I'm happy to provide whatever info is necessary.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello,

Try post #6 [cdanteek's cure] from THIS TOPIC to get Creator to recognize your optical drives.

I'm afraid I don't know what would cause your first problem.

Brendon,
Thanks, that worked!  By fixing the second problem, the first problem has been fixed.  So apparently, it won't grab tracks off an optical drive it doesn't recognize.

I guess that makes sense.

Glad it's fixed. Cdanteek does it again! :)
