I am using Roxio Easy CD and DVD Burning, version 9.0.554, build 905B54T, R01 (the PX engine and core modules are, of course different).

My desktop is next to the top of the line Intel, a 7 core and only 1 year old.

My problem is I run this software, I add files, add music (all under the Slideshow Assistant component), click the Review button and it sounds fine.  So, I click Next, set the slides to display every 6 secs, accept the rest, press Next again, it gives me 3 choices for output - I pick burn CD.  In maybe 10 secs it says it's loading a module and another 10 secs later and the screen goes back to the beginning - where you add pic files and music, i.e. where I started.  It doesn't burn!!

Can you help.  I can't find the original install CDs.  Maybe not compatible with Windows 7?  Is this possible?

DEFINITELY NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7, sorry. Your version 9.0.554 is way too old.

The first version of Easy CD and DVD Burning which is compatible with Windows 7 is Version 10.3, which has been specially modified for Win 7 compatibility. It has a Win 7 logo on the box, if you're looking for it in a store.
