Hello. I just bought the Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning red box software. Version 10.3.104.
Does anyone know if the trim function works with this version, or has it been disabled.
No matter what video I download to My DVD Express, the trim button doesn't activate. Any
info would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Bob

Hello Bob,
In my 10.3.104 the trim tool won't come up if I have MyDVD Express set for a DVD with a menu, but if I set it for DVD without menu the trim tool pops up and seems fully functional.
I don't know why it's done this way, but perhaps a menu gets in the way.
Hope this helps.

Good morning Brendon. I tried what you suggested and the trim tool pops up. Thank you so much for your reply.

Good morning Jim. I performed Brendon's suggestion about trying trimming without menus, and it works for me too. I have tried WMV, AVI and MPG files, large and small, and could not get the button to pop with any of them using the menu setting. It is a little bizarre. Thank you for your reply.

That is odd???
Not the reaction I get at all.
I add a clip with a regular menu project and Trim works as expected:
Any details about the clip? I was using an mpg file from Windows Samples.
