[NFF314]

Hi I just reloaded version 6 and attempted to create a disk of data and the roxio does not see my drives, When going to my computer they are listed. What can I do to resolve this . I do not want to upgrade to another Roxio version... Any help would be apprecaited. Thank you!

I did load it and saw one of the two drives that I have installed and now it see's only one drive and when I put in a blank CD, I get a message to put in a blank cd, although there is no in there. Can you still help?

Were both drives working before you re-installed the Roxio software?.

Also,  does Windows see the drive that the Roxio doesn't?.

Both drives were working prior to the install of Roxio and windows only shows the one drive now. any suggestions?  Do you want me to call you to discuss?

Did it work before with IE 8? Newer versions of IE have caused Roxio Applications to break same same newer versions of Windows Media Player.

Did you have a the Creator6 updates saved on your PC/backup? Or did you just install from the disc?
If so what version # are you? Problem is Roxio isn't hosting/supporting them where they should be!

Do you have Basic or Platinum?

Have you tried to use the internal burning capabilities of XP to see if the burners work ok?

yes, sorry, the CD burners do work without Roxio, I am using version 6 and deinstalled again. Maybe the best way is to start another install this will be the fifth. I am not a novice to using a Pc but this one has me stumped.  There is no one at Roxio to offer live support, by any chance can you?

Obviously installing and uninstalling aren't getting you anywhere.

Have you downloaded the updates and applied them in the correct order with the links I provided?

Your version 6 came out eight years ago and Roxio says they don't support it anymore.

The techs on the support phones have probably never used or worked with this old software!

Your best bet is to slow down and read the post's in this thread. Then answer every question asked.

Then why haven't you clicked on the blue link in post #10 that takes you to the updates?

There is a drive update for missing drives but has to be installed after the engine update.

You haven't followed anyone's suggestion in this thread yet so I'm doubtful you will this time!
