This is an issue we've had for a while. When we use Toast to burn a DVD (either from Quicktimes or from an imported DV stream) and we select 2 (or more) copies, only the first copy is playable. The others seem to be playing and contain the same amount of data, but will not display vision or sound. This is true of both standalone DVD player and computer DVD playback. The latest burn where this happened was a single title, no menu - but on the additional copy the player counter runs up to 12 seconds and then restarts to zero, as if it's playing a menu. It also doesn't autoplay.
The disc shows a VIDEO_TS folder and a DVD structure with the same sized VOB files as the working one, but when I try to rip it, I get a VOB of about 35kB. Also, the mpeg2 and audio file created are still on the drive.
Any thoughts?

This was a problem with either Toast 7.0.1 or 7.0.2 (I can't recall which) but it should be fixed with Toast 7.1. Have you installed the update?
There was a workaround which is to Save as Disc Image (from the File menu) and then burn multiple copies from the disc image using the Image File setting in the Copy window.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
