Installed Creator 10 in an XP box. Launched Videowave. Dialog popped up that it wanted to configure video card. Did so and after reboot an icon in the image of a CD now intermittently appears next to the pointer. How might I eliminate this? Thanks.

I continued to try to use Easy Media Creator 10 but it worked slower and slower until my machine became unresponsive. Upon reboot I was given the option to roll back to the last known good configuration. I did so and after boot up the CD icon appeared no more. I'm not sure what was going on there but the issue appears resolved. Thanks for your help.

Please post a screen shot so we can find out what you are talking about. It may be the Burn Secure feature which can be turned off from the Home page options by un-checking your drives. I can't tell by your description so that is why I',m asking for a screen shot. Do it this way (link)
BTW, Please refer to the Program by the full name Creator 2010 to distinguish it from the older Easy Media Creator 10 or one of the oem pieces of software such as Creatoe 10.?? DE,SE, etc.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
