I am able to successfully burn a DVD DL with MYDVD 8.4Gb project.
It plays on the Laptop with selection of all buttons and arrows, but
I can only navigate to the buttons, not to the arrorws,
on my Marantz 7600.  Some menu pages work ok
but at least one of the three pages exhibit the problem above.
Each time I burn a DVD DL different menu pages exhibit
the problem above, but not always the same ones.

Players can be a little particular about consumer burned DL media. Only 1 of the 3 I have will even recognize DL discs that I burned.

If you have a 4.7 RW it would be a good test to burn a small project using the same setup of themes, menu structure, etc. to see how it behaves.

The Marantz 7600 plays DVD DL.  I've burned other DVD DL projects and the were read OK.

Have you changed the type of disc you used since then?

If so, try going back to the original brand...
