I already started a topic with Roxio srevice dept but i haven't recieved another response yet. The Roxio burned DVD's will not play on my older Magnavox DVD player, but will play on the Phillips player. I am reasonably sure that the format being used is AVI. Would this be because the Magnavox player is older and won't support Roxio burned DVD's? I plan on replacing the older player this weekend. Thanks.

Most likely that Magnavox does not recognize the avi. Why did you burn to avi and not create a standard DVD that can be played on all DVD players? Many DVD players do not recognize avi (there are many "forms" of avi) and that includes many of the newer players.
Your problem really is not due to the Roxio software and I don't see how Roxio can really help you.
