in a video wave production when adding music i can get the first mp3 file to play but subsiquent files will not play. in fact it looks like there is no audio added on some of the subsiquent tracks even though the show on the track line.
i have done this many times before but can't now.
i have ripped the cd music with the creator 8 ce converter, i have mp3 flies (128 & 256, no protection)
i have tried adding to both music and background tracks.
is it the mp3 files or somthing that has changed in the videowave adding music funtion? no error messages
i have tried to make an audio production with the make cd function and use that still to no success.
i can not save the audio production in an mp3 formate which videowave is looking for
it looks like there is a lot on incompatable formates within creator 8 am i correct or just dumb?
assistance would be greatly appreciated

I think that you may just have some incompatible format mp3 files. Open Sound Editor, add the tracks and then export them again. mp3 is OK. Try again I think the program likes 196. You might also try exporting them as a wav file. In the future, unless you are really hard up on hard disc space, import them as wav files. You can always change them to mp3 to free up some disc space.
If that doesn't work, try downloading the free trial version of GoldWave and use that program to batch convert. That has more options so you might try wave. You will not get back the original quality of a wav file.
