hello, i wasn't sure where to post this question. move me to the correct spot please.is easy cd and dvd burner 7 compatible with windows 7? i am pretty sure it is easy cd/dvd burner 7 but it doesnt say it on the cd. i am getting a message saying a recently installed program tried to install an unsigned driver. this version of windows requires all drivers to have a valid signature. the driver is unavailable and the program that uses this driver might not work correctly. uninstall the program or device that uses this driver and check the publisher's support website to get a digitally signed driver. i just lost everything from my computer and switched to windows 7 from xp so i wasn't sure if i could use this or not. it says driver blocked due to incompatibilty. a driver is installed that causes stability problems with your system. this driver will be disabled. please contact the driver manufacturer for an update that is compatible with this version of windows. i'm guessing i can't use, but thought i would ask.

Hello,

Can you tell us please, exactly what is the name of the software that is written on the installer disc?

The blurb about unsigned drivers is Windows 7 talking, but the mention of 'a driver blocked due to incompatibility' sounds like Drag-to-Disc, which is part of EMC 7.

Are this menu and box familiar?

If this is what you have, it's Easy Media Creator 7 [EMC 7] and I'm sorry to say that it is not compatible with Windows 7.
The first Creator which is compatible with Windows 7 is Creator 2010, which came FOUR and a half versions later than your software. :(

Best regards,
Brendon

So, if you want to stay with Roxio you will have to move up to Creator 2010/2011 or the latest 2012....shop around and see what you can find.

If it's Easy CD & DVD Burning from 2007 it will be the old version 9.0.554 - that was the last version to have Drag-to-Disc, and I can confirm - Not Windows 7 compatible. Sorry.
