I bought this program. It will not install! When it asks for the product key, i type in the cd key. correct? Then it keeps saying product is not activated. I took the first one back to walmart. They couldn't figure it out. So they told me to get another one. same issue!. There tech support was very little help. I bought a gateway computer, laptop. brand new! Windows 7. Can anyone help me?

The key should be on a sticky label on the sleeve - make sure that's it and not the TSID (different kettle of red herrings)
Also, make sure you don't confuse a capital o with 0 or a L for a 1.
There were some versions released that accidentally had the wrong key. If it still fails, check this post
