I have a big issue with re-installing my (last year) purchased Roxio Creator 2010 and receive no further support from Roxio "Support" Team since this version is "legacy" (not supported anymore, rather strange in regards to a 1 (one) year old product!!!)
After a disk-crash I have to re-install Roxio Creator 2010, however everytime during [Set-Up] the following message appears: "Set-up can not continue beacuse a more recent version of Internet Esplorer has been detected on this computer". After un-installing IE 9 back to IE 8, the same message appears. The only thing to do is click [OK] and set-up is aborted.
Is there a way to avoid the installation of IE during set-up, so I can use this product again????????? I used my (paid-for) "extended download feature provided by Roxio (useless as it seems now, and have the following .exe file: RoxioCreator2010_HX19AXC0R13.exe

Please don't double postr.  Rewad the answer you have in your other thread.

Yes, Creator has nothing to do with installing IE.  If you are getting that message something other than Roxio is screwed up.
