I have EMC 2010. I'm using Videowave to create a slideshow with about 140 slides. If I export the show to an AVI video file, the show plays back just fine showing all the slides. If, however, I select the DVD button to open MyDVD and burn the slideshow to a DVD, a random number of the slides are missing from the resulting show. Or more correctly, there is a transition (a fade) to black where the slide is supposed to be. The black blank sits there for as long as the slide was supposed to display and then the next trasition happens to the next slide. This is infurating! I've worked around this using the AVI file with Nero Vision to create the DVD. When I've tried using MyDVD with the AVI file it usually crashes MyDVD.

Any suggestions or ideas? Incidentally I've had the same or similar problems with the previous two versions of Easy Media Creator. I am unlikely to risk throwing my money away upgrading.

What program suite do you have as there is no such suite as EMC 2010. There is Easy Media Creator 10 (EMC 10) and there is Roxio Creator 2010 (C2010). The two suites are 2 years apart.

Are you using any of the 3D transitions in your project? Is your render setting (under Tools/Options) on software or hardware.? If on software and you are using some of the 3D settings then can get what you are describing which is usually due to your video card not being fully compatible. with the DirectX 9 installed.
