I was cleaning up temporary datasets, deleted mu.msi. now I can not get rid of update manager or restore it.

msi is a Microsoft Installer Application. mu could be anything.
Anything here help? Since you have a very old version of the product, there will be no updates so I would suggest that you remove update manager using Windows Add/Remove programs.
If another program needs to be updated, you can check manually or the program itself will load an update manager.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

It's not mu.msi, it's UM.MSI, and it will be found in the folder UPDATEMANAGER_MSI on your installation disc.
Where did you delete it from? It's an installer file and doesn't get transferred to your hard drive when you install.
