I have videowave 8.  I just thought I would check the roxio site to see if there might be an update even though the automatic updater, in the program, told me there were none.  The only updates I can find are for Videowave 7+  Videowave 8 is not even listed.  I did find there were updates for EMC 8 but that is not what I have.  I find this a little strange.

Thoughts?

Not strange really. The update for EMC apparently does not include anything that wasn't already in the released version of the Videowave only product. And as I recall, the standalone Videowave wasn't released to market until well after that EMC update was posted. It came out within a week or so of the initial EMC release. It only applied to some of the early EMC versions shipped to stores.

So trust the automatic updater. When it says "no updates available", there are none.
