New user here.  Two questions.
1. I can copy DVDs, and burn video ts folder.  But when I try to use the video ts compilation selection it crashes everytime it start to write the dvd.  What gives?

2.  I downloaded the 4.02 update and everytime I start the program, it acts like it is the very first time and makes me re-register. What gives?

I don't know the reason for the problem but I can provide a workaround. Also, if you quit Popcorn without it crashing I believe you won't have to go through the setup the next time you open it.

The workaround is to use the Popcorn media browser to access the titles from the various VIDEO_TS folders you want on a new DVD. Choose DVD video as the format in the Popcorn Copy tab. Place a VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop or in the Movies folder or insert a DVD disc you are using as your source. Choose DVD with the top button of the Popcorn Media Browser. Double click on what appear in the browser window. You should see thumbnail images for individual video titles. Drag what you want to the Main Popcorn window (or select the title(s) and click the + button). A window appears giving you the opportunity to edit your selection. Assuming you want the whole title just click Add. Now do the same thing for another VIDEO_TS folder. If you need more places to put a source VIDEO_TS folder try putting it in any location and click the folder icon next to the "DVD" top button in the Media Browser to search out your VIDEO_TS folder's location.

You now can prepare a menu for your DVD. If the content is too large for a single-layer disc and you don't want to burn a dual-layer disc choose Save as Disc Image. When that is finished select the disc image using the Image File setting in the Copy window and have Popcorn do its fit-to-DVD compression
