After building a new good spec pc and only win 7 installed and updated I have never known such a difficult programme to install. I have installed it at least 3 times previously and it is always something different that is the problem. For the life of me I can't understand why it does not install like most other programmes it's even easier to clean install win 7 in my opinion. So again Why is this so stubborn error for this and error for that it's ridiculous I'm exausted. Must be time to move onto something different rather than rely on 2012.

What program are you trying to install? You are posting in C2011 forum but are trying to install C2012 or ?

It would also help if you were to specify the errors you are getting, all you have said is "my car won't start"

The last time I posted you told me not to bother to get a new mobo cpu more memory. and other gurus said it was a good idea well I did. I never said my car wouldn't start I said 2011 is difficult and it is more difficult than premier which apart from the trial I can't afford. I bought this 2011 earlier this year and it has been difficult from day one always has issues and they've all been listed by others

Joca,

So are you asking for help with a particular problem, or are you just complaining that Creator 2011 is "difficult" ??

Yeah! I guess I'm having a bit of a rant. After spending most of the day building the items below and installing win7 and all the associated updates that go with it. With a nice clean pc the first programme I decide to install (because of previous issues is roxio 2011. I went to bed frustrated and it is still not installed. So my rant is why is the thing so difficult. I have not written down the errors because I tried to solve them as they arrived like system is not configured or looking at the log NET framework, turn on-off windows features. Now if you don't normally deal with these things on a daily basis you are not used to them. But it appears that all these things are only an issue with roxio. Anyway it's another day now so we will have another go.

I apologise I have just noted that I missed typed and entered 2012 by mistake it should have been "rather than rely on 2011"

Mega problems. I have been in dialogue with support agents for three days with no progress I don't want to go into details about that because in fairness they deserve weekends off just like the rest of us so we will see what kicks off on Monday if anything. The problem is I have a new build and it is possible that a problem has appeared that is new even to Roxio OR it is something really simple that I am not doing or maybe doing incorrectly. I purposely decided to install roxio 2011 pro before installing any other apps due to previous tricky intalls on win 7 64 bit other than office and that is still the situation so I have a clean fully updated OS and mega frustrations.
