What operating system are you running? Creator 2009 is not compatible with W7.
It is possible that the program did not completely uninstall when you tried and that your anti-virus is causing the problem.
1) Try this to
remove the program (link). then
2) prepare your computer using
these guidelines.
3) Make sure you turn off that anti-virus before you try to install.
4) Tturn off the registry cleaner in your anti-virus. It is seeing one of the Roxio enties as something that needs to be removed.
5) Reinstall and update.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
