Will a 3d TV using shutter glasses work or do you have to have a RealD TV.

Please explain more. What are you trying to watch?

Creator 2012 (Create DVD 3D ) can output in anaglyph and RealD.

Was trying to convert a 2D video into 3D and watch it on a 3D TV that uses shutter glasses. I can watch it with 3d Cyan and Red glasses.I can watch it on my PC that way but was trying set it up so it would play on my Samsung TV using the side by side or top/bottom format. My guess is it won't work on TV's like that.

Thanks for the response and any help.

You can make a 3D video in Edit Video -Advanced. You can output it as any number of 3D formats such as side by side or up/down, Real, etc.

I haven't tried it but you should be able to put your 3D video on a thumbdrive and put that into the TV (if you can) it should play it. I'm not sure what would happen if you put the video on a regular DVD as a data file and put that in your player. It might work.

Thank You

It worked I made a 3D video in edit video-advanced then exported it as a anaglyph top/bottom mp3 to my hard drive then burn't to a DVD put it in my blu-ray player then set my TV view to over under in 3D mode. Pictures was a little narrow but it played in 3D.

Thank you again.

Great

Happy Holidays to you also. Perhaps Santa will bring you a 3D camcorder. I have the inexpensive Aiptek and I was amazed when I saw the 3D images on my son't Samsung 3D TV. I don't own a 3D TV and I'm not sure when or if I will get one.

That's what's happening to all my 3D side by side productions? Why are they all coming out "Narrow" as if it's only outputting one side instead of a widescreen picture? The original file is widescreen but after adding it to Videowave or MyDVD, the resulting production is very narrow and I can't figure out why?
