I downloaded the 6.2.0.134 update, the comments on the file say 6.2.0.134.  When I run Creator it says I am running 6.2.0.110 version, not the 134 version.  When I try to run the update, I get a message that it is already updated.

I am having problems with a new Dual Layer DVD/CD burner in that after a good burn the bruner locks up and will not eject the disk, that is why I am updateing.

How do I check which engine I am running?  Are there issues with the Roxio in WinAmp and the ECD 6 software?

Thanks, Scott

Never applied the .134 as there is very little in it of use… It contains an update to the drives list to enhance recognition of older drives. Your burner is too new for this to be of any use to you.

On an earlier update, I have a note that Classic will show .110 whereas Builder will show .111. So it is possible that not all programs will show the same version number.

The lockup of a drive is mostly a drive firmware problem.

I would first go into Device Manager and delete the drive. Reboot and see if that cures it.

If not, go to the drive site or OEM supplier and see if a firmware update is available.
