[kustom shows]

I just purchased this program and found out that it only accepts a firewire connection. My video camera supports both fire wire and USB, however, my PC only accepts USB type connection. Does this mean I cannot use this software???

What are you connecting the computer to?

If you have an empty PCI slot, you can purchase a Firewire PCI card. They relatively inexpensive. Even Walmart sells them.

I highly suggest you go with Gary's suggestion and buy an IEEE1394 (Firewire) card, assuming you have a spare PCI slot on you motherboard you can use. BTW, if you do get a Firewire card, it may or may not come with a Firewire cable. Your camcorder probably did, so use it. There have been some posts where individuals have found that an OEM firewire cable doesn't work, so use the one you probably have.
