How do you capture a photo for editing?

You have not supplied any details whatsoever!
Capture from where or what? Using what program?

In general you simply copy photos from your camera to your PC using Windows Explorer if you can connect your camera to your PC.

I think I know what does he means :). Just hit print screen button on Your keyboard, and paste it somewhere in paint or that kind of application.

Are you now a mind reader?  Is that a normal profession in your country?  Stop posting if you have nothing valuable to add.

A Photo is nothing like a screen shot so my guess is that you are WRONG !  Posted Image
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Like Myguggi said, you really need to give a little more information. Which program do you have? Do you want to add a picture from your hard drive, scanner,  memory card, camera, or ... ?
