I am using Easy VHS to DVD Capture ver 1.0.5 on an 24" 2.8 4gig ram IMAC and cannot get the video to work. I hooked up my vcr to the video capture usb device directly to my IMAC. I get sound but no video. I tried both RCA and Svideo connections and still no picture. I am running system 10.6.8 and when I reinstalled the cables to my tv in worked perfectly...Tried second vcr still no video

I had a similar problem that turned out to be a defective cable sold with the device. Fortunately I had a similar cable from my EyeTV that works in its place. I suggest exchanging your unit for a replacement.
