Thanks for that information Atlantic !
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I just purchased the full retail version of Creator 2011 off of E-Bay for an unbelievably low price. I'm so excited to try it.
It came in today's mail in a very impressive looking retail box complete with a 'getting started guide', Roxio 3D glasses, and the install DVD w/key code.
I'm wondering if I need to uninstall 2009 before installing 2011? Anyone know for sure?

Need to ???
My personal opinion is yes, remove Creator 2009. Make sure you have no personal resources (images, video, etc. In any of the Roxio folders. Use this to uninstall Creator 2009 (link).

Thanks sknis, you've been incredibly helpful.
I did a complete removal using a free 30 day trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro. I was a little nervous using it, but it seemed to have done the job.
I updated some of my drivers, installed Creator 2011, and am happy to say that the video trimmer is working again.
Life is good.

IE 8 or IE9?
