If I make a disc image before I burn my project does that make it so I can burn the project much faster by using the image later on? What I am trying to get at is their a way I can get toast to do it's thing (compressing files and whatever else it does to get a disk ready to burn) so that I can burn a disk fast later. You see I don't have the blu-ray's I need right now to burn so I am wondering if I can get the project ready to go when I get the blu-ray discs in.

Yes. That's a great reason to create a disc image. Burn it later to disc using the Image File setting in the Copy window.

Besides You can make multiple burnings of the same image later this is useful too.
