I'm trying to make a complilation disk from several CDs using EMC8 by clicking on "Audio CD for Car or Home Player". I'm burning from drive D to drive E. I can't get the song titles to appear for the source CD in Drive D. To make the Audio CD I did the following:
1.) Click File, New Project, Audio, Creat Audio CD.
2.) The "Roxio Creater 8 Suite Home - Untitled" / Audio CD for Car or Home Player" window appears.
3. I click on the "Add Music" button.
2.) The "Music Files" window appears with the contents of Drive D, i.e., Track 01, Track 02, etc.
3.) If I double click on Track 01, the Track 01 information is downloaded and will appear in the "Roxio Creater 8 Suite Home - Untitled / Home " window as a song I want to burn.
It's not clear to me how I can go about downloading the album title/song title information for the source disk so that appears on the "Music Files" window. I am used to Easy CD Creater 4 where the download procedure simply involved clicking on an icon to get the Gracenote information for the source CD. How can I get EMC8 to do the same thing?

EMC has several different apps to create audio discs. I prefer using Music Disc Creator. It accesses Gracenote as soon as I insert the audio CD. Sorry I don't use the Home app much and not that familiar with it.

I tried it and I see what you're talking about. When you click on a track to add it then the title shows up but not before.I think that's just the way the app works.I agree that a much better way to do this is to use Music Disc Creator. That way you get an explorer type view and the titles show when you click on your source drive.
