So I can't record anymore, but I know my computer can run the capture program specs wise (specs in my signature).
Proof that I used to be able record here --->


Here's exactly what happens when I open the capture program

Ok here's what worked for me.
I downloaded everything on this page http://www.microsoft...ang=en&id=15697
Then once they were all downloaded, I ran msxml.msi(one of the downloaded items) and put repair, then I restarted my computer and the capture program works again
