Is Isotope and other changes worth upgrading from 2011?  I am only interested in the Audio noise reduction part .

Please use the default text unless you have a visual impediment.

Do you have Sound Soap as part of Creator 2011? It is in a Bias folder. That works well for noise reduction.  Go to the Bias site and watch the tutorial.

If that doesn't do it for you, you might want to try a better audio editing software.  I suggest "Gold Wave".  It has a lenient free trial.

Yes I have problems with my eyes ! That is why I only worry about music and sound.
I do have Bias Sound Soap included.

However I have read articles on the internet that IZatope has additional features to allow more accurate cleaning.  
The question is are these added features worth the upgrade price  ?  Do they provide better results?  I'm cleaning up old 78's, 45's and 33 RPM Records and cassett tapes.

You can go back to large bold.

Before you upgrade to Creator 2012 just for Izotope, try Gold Wave.  It is a much better audio editor and is a lot cheaper than upgrading from Creator 2011 to Creator 2012.

I don't see enough of a difference between Sound Soap and Izotope. Did you watch the Bias tutorial?

Thanks,  It depends upon the size of your monitor and the page you are viewing as to how helpful it is.
For instance one line in these pages is 143 characters long. Scrolling and manipulating the images
is harder than just choosing number 12 size font and bolding it.  

I just received an email saying that someone else had replied but I could not find his remarks as
only one page is listed, is that normal ?

That reply was not on topic and was removed.  It added nothing.  It was from a person who does one liners because the person think it is cute to do so.
