I have Toast Basic 8.  I have created a data DVD to archive photos.  The "Help" says "automatically" generate slideshows that can be viewed on Mac and PC.  My husband does this easily on  Windows 7, but how do I do it on my Mac?  Do I have to transfer the photos to iDVD or do something else.  Thanks.

It's possible that this feature is not part of Toast 8 Basic but requires the Titantium version. You can make DVD slide shows with iDVD that play on DVD players. If you want to create a slide show that plays on a Mac you can use iPhoto. Those also can be saved as QuickTime movies that play on Macs and PCs. IMovie can also make slide shows as can many other applications.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
