There are a couple of gurus in the Houston area but I don't know of any groups or classes. Perhaps someone else does. Suggestion, start with the tutorials, then the manual, then the help files, then play around. you might try looking at some of the Junior Colleges or extension (Adult) training held by your city (area).
Are you just trying to learn or do you have a special effect that you are trying to make and have a problem?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Thanks for your reply. I have made alot of good movies but I am sure I could learn alot more.
A hands on session would be good. Who are the Houston gurus?
Thanks again

Just a small suggestion toden. Use the "Personal Message" (PM) option in the forum to get information rather than using your e-mail address.

As Frank has pointed out, posting your email address in the Forums is NOT a good idea.
These are public Forums, searched by google and other search engines, which in turn are searched by spammers seeking to "harvest" email addresses for spamming purposes.
If it's not already too late, I'd sugged you edit it out.
