I've been looking through Help files, other discussion boards, etc and am wondering if anyone can help me with this.  I'm also hoping Toast 7.1 can do this.

I have a finalized DVD+R that I burned from a VHS tape on my set top DVD recorder.  It plays just fine on my Mac within DVD Player.  I would now like to be able to edit this video in iMovie.  I understand I need to convert the current format to one that iMovie will understand and am hoping Toast can do this.  I have imported the video into Toast using the DVD-Video from Video-TS option, and now I'm stuck.  There is no "export" button at the bottom of the window and all of the options under the "Disc" menu item are grayed out.  I actually made a disc image and then tried to import the files using the DVD-Video option, but Toast could not read all of the files.

Hope that makes sense.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

1) Make sure you have the DVD-Video (not DVD-Video from Video_TS folder) format chosen on the video tab.
2) After clicking on the format, choose the media button just above that.  Then drag and drop in the files from there.
3) There should be an export button at the bottom of that screen, use it after the various files have been imported.
