I got the message originally, the first time I tried to burn to disc, but then on trying again it somehow worked (although I had done nothing differently), and I have one DVD made now. Every time I try again, it goes back to saying 8004520c Error while Encoding Movie 1 and I've no idea what to do now!!
please help, this is driving me crazy....

If you wait till Windows thinks it needs it, it then tell you that you don't have enough space to defrag
Ask me how I know that
Also, have you tried making a Folder Set instead of burning to a disc?

Actually a better approach is to burn to Folder in MyDVD...
Then take the (VIDEO_TS) Folder into Burn Data Disc. That way seems to work when all others fail
It is odd and frustrating! I usually do the Folder - Seperate Burn method, but today sent a 3 hour video to a BD without a glitch after rendering for 6+ hours

I don't think there isa video editor that will convert every video file format in existence, atleast not in this price range. Why do you think there are hundreds of specialized video converters advertising on the web?
Since you have given no information at all about your project or your system, it is impossible to make any recommendation. "Brand new computer, 2TB, 10GB RAM" doesn't mean anything when it comes to video.
