Best Buy sold me "roxio lp to mp3" in order to transfer my cassette music to pc.
I am obviously doing things incorrectly because I do show minutes of down loads but, I cannot listen/hear anything!
Any help out there? Does Roxio have any "tech" help?
Thanks,
Robert

PC Specs?
Does it record anything?
Do the Audio 'bars' move?
What are you hooking it up to?
HOW?
Have you tried another device?
Free Phone Customer Care is only for certain products... but email is open to all

Mr. Guru,
Hate to show my almost complete ignorance, but I guess I,m busted.
I placed cassette in tape player.
Plugged in "line out" plugs. (2).
Ran those thru roxio audio capture USB.
Connected audio capture box with UBS cable to pc.
Went to pc & roxio software download, which i had incerted, and uploaded/captured a few minutes of tape.
Found the 4 or so minutes of tape in my music folder and clicked "play"
No sound/music.
Also tried to load it onto cd. Got buzzing sounds.
Pretty lame, huh!

Not a problem at all ~ sounds like my description of a plumbing problem
I should tell you now that I have never seen the Roxio LP to MP3 software or device
It should be close enough to the V2D Software/Device to make some good guesses.
I'll guess you have a Win7 PC?
With the device plugged in and Sound Editor up and running, right click the Speaker and select Mixer:
Close the Mixer, then right click the speaker and select Recording Devices:
Any change?

Make sure Mute is not selected or the Volume for the software is turned down:

Make sure the USB Device is set as Default:
