I have used Digital Performer to mix a surround song that I'd like to burn with Toast 7.1.  When I attempt to drag the files to the Make a music DVD screen 6 files are displayed rather than one.  They all have the correct extension .L/.R/.C/.LF/...  What am I doing wrong?  They are .Aiff files.   Do I need to encode them?  Can I do what I'm attepting to do?  I want to listen to the song with my DVD player in dolby digital surround (5.1).  Thanks for any help.

David

Toast can accept an existing 5.1 AC-3 file but it cannot create anything more than 2-channel audio either as PCM or AC-3.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
