Have you looked in the Help when you open up the program.
Lets get your sound working first (it was working so you had the right settings).
Thanks for ALL of your help. I appreciate it so much. You are the BEST! I had an error on the PCI Simple Communication Controller. Driver reloaded and now all is working. Hooray!
I am on my third capture. I will burn to DVD and then go back after all burnt and do some editing.

You have tried another tape?......preferably the one you used the first time.
The cords are the same....settings the same.....audio cables not loose......did you run any Registry cleaner.....applied any updates on your computer.....installed any new programs.....

DON'T run any registry cleaner, they do nothing other than wreck existing programs. When something works then quits, it is usually a Reg Cleaner.
There was no attachment on you last post.

I ran no Reg Cleaner. I useCC Cleaner at work and was going to try it at home tonight. I won't do that now but will try the first tape. Is there a url that shows capture settings? I could recheck those as well.
Thanks!

It does not let me attached = ! Error You aren't permitted toupload this kind of file. Not sure why not BUT is is an S Video Adapter. Do you find this works better than the yellow cable? I have seen the You tube video...average at best. I thought perhaps there was a better manual than what can with the VHS to Video Software. It really is not that good. Sorry.

There is a lot of variables here......once you get the S-video cable try it (use a DVD-RW as a test). Then, using the same tape use the Composite cable (yellow) and compare, then you can see which YOU like best. Do a Google on "composite vs s-video" for more info ( just one http://www.ehow.com/facts_5682064_s_video-vs_-rca-composite-cable.html )

It sounds like you are burning directly to a DVD and then want to do some editing.
Try using the Record, Edit and Save (not the 'Record DVD') put it in a folder on your HD, then edit and burn to DVD.

I am capturing the video and saving to the hard drive. Okay I will then edit and save and then burn. Thanks again.
