Everything pretty much does just what it says it does

Hardware Render utilizes your Video Card for processing... Software does not. The choice is based on your video Card performance! If you have an 'on-board chip', stick with Software! Likewise, if you get sound sync issues or jerky, blurry video (especially with movement), stick to Software

Otherwise use Hardware. A disc or 2 of DVD RW is great to use to determine which is best!

With this Trim System, you can do multiple trims at one time before going to Export... Likewise, should you reach Export and realize you need another Trim, back up by clicking on the Tab at the top ;)

place.then, make that area gray,in between the marks.then,I can click on the next clip?If i need to
change the title of the video clip? just highlight it&put info in the block?

I was not able to tell a difference between rendering the hardware or software! is there a video quality difference between using transfer a single
VHS tape to a DVD,opposed to multiple video clips to a DVD? when its time for me to insert a blank DVD in the destination drive,a AUTO PLAY DVD RW DRIVE E
blank DVD options box comes up on the screen.should i click on one of the options? i normally just close the box.then go to the next step.
after have made my trial DVD RW. what is the easy way to erase it?  when i finish with the program,DVD IS DONE.A error box comes up after i click
the x to close. will have to look closer to catch what the error says.it has to do with RUN TIME.should i turn off the VCR before closing out
of the program first?  thanks

  :D   I think I can wade through that ;)

Render – HW vs SW… You may not see a difference except when there is movement. Then if your HW is not up to snuff, it may blur during movement.

Otherwise, since your quality is not too great (VHS) to start with, it can be hard to see, But it can be made much worse if you try to exceed 1 hour per DVD!

As far as the Windows pop up when you insert a disc, you are correct, just close it with NO action. (it can be turned off in the Action Center but why bother?)

To erase a disc, use Windows Explorer, right click the disc and choose Erase. (only works with RW discs  ;) )

As far as the order of exits, it doesn’t really matter.

I ran into some trouble today!  after trimming video's. I  saved the video's in the archive folder. I go back & import video's.
go to export page, put in disc, check mark the clips that will fit on dics.click on export.a box comes up with a yellow triangle in it.
in the box it also says there was a problem writing to the disc.i click ok,then the disc tray opens.thanks

? you said you were 'Exporting' video...

Maybe time for a screen cap or 2 - HERE

The time is a little excessive, we figure on 1 hour of best quality for a 4.7 GB DVD. If you reduce quality for the sake of fitting it on, visual quality goes down real fast!
