EMC 10 needs to be at least 10.3 in order to work with Win7...
Can you see the USB Device using the 'Capture' in EMC 10?
There is NO service pack for the 201B Build of V2D
Look at your box and make sure you have the Win7 Compatibility logo in the lower right corner. It won't work without it
Curious what your PC specs are as far as Video Card and Settings?
Assuming you meet the specs, you will need to do the Prep Steps to the letter!
Then start the install of the Suite, only pick Repair when it is offered.

Still a little concerned with EMC 10, typical failure is that it works for a while, then fails... Easy to check, Help - About! Is it 10.3?
1024 X 768 32bit minimum screen resolution, no way around that one
Drivers & Software for that Video Card are located HERE.

Wow! the EMC 10 has to go... It will not continue to function on a Win7 PC and will screw things up as it fails.
You did not mention your screen res??? You understand it absolutely, positively must be 1024 X 768, 32bit or Higher to work!!! No exceptions, no 'yeah buts'
2 more things:
Put in your V2D DVD and look at it in Explorer. Confirm you actually have:
Assuming you have the 201B, after you remove the EMC 10, download and install the Revo uninstaller.
Run it in MODERATE MODE to remove V2D.
Reboot and run the Prep Steps I linked to in Post #2, then Install the V2D program.
I'll keep my fingers crossed
