Roxio Creator Pro 2012

I installed disc 1 with no problem. Tried to install disc 2. At the middle of installation process, it asked for disc 1. I put disc 1 in, but it was not recognised.(several times)

Its a read error from disk 2. The message is from a 3rd party application.
Try copying contents of disk 2 to hard drive and running setup.exe.

I also have installed disk 1 OK (from DVD) but disk 2 had the "insert disk 1" error while installing Sonicfire.
I copied the contents of Disk 2 to hard drive and the sonicfire directory to own directory in C:\Sonic
Now error 1330 occurs saying the Data1.cab file is corrupt or has invalid digital signature. The cab file opens OK with Winzip but not sure if this is a good test.
What to try next? (Is the log file any use?)
