Dvd Drive Won't Recognize Blank Dvd

My Creator 2012 has made it so my disk drive no longer recognizes blank DVD's. I can still play already burned DVDs however. What can I do? I have windows 7 and a Dell Pentium 4 HT?? Sorry - not a computer person

Let's clarify. Does Roxio not see your drive or does Windows not see your drive (or both)?
