Tell us about your computer - if it is store bought, the manufacturer and complete model number. Most newer computer have a good enough video chip. It may just need to be updated.
When do you get the notice about the video card? If I get out my Crystal ball, it may be that you are trying to use a 3D transition in Video Wave. Those do require more but there are all the others you can use.
