Audio Problems

Question

Has anyone had audio problems? I have an ear-piercing noise (hard to describe) when I open the software. I should mention it's the upgrade 3 Plus.

I also interfears with my Microsoft LifeCam by turning it on and the 'screech' comes thru it as well. I

want my money back!

Are you installing this on a laptop with a built in microphone you may be getting feedback from the cameras mic? What operating system? Please more details so we can track down the issue.

Were you able ot install the program with no problems. Di you have problems with the earlier version. Dod you have the caprute device plugged in when you instlled this program. Tell us about how you have the audio set up in your operating system and what settings?

Disable the LifeCam when you are capturing. VHS2DVD3 does not interfere with the LifeCam, it is most likely the other way around and that is why you are getting the screech. I have the same thing happening when the WebCam is enabled.

Thanks to everyone for responding. I uninstalled Microsoft LifeCam

and I still get the screeching.

Roxio 2010 was working fine but since I upgraded to 3 Plus I'm

having this problem. The LifeCam was as well until I installed

3 Plus. So now I have 2 pieces of software that doesn't work!!!

There was no need to uninstall the LifeCam, just disable it.

I have the same problem after updating to DVD 3 Plus. I am trying to convert home videos and the software is trying to grab the sound through the computer microphone instead of the USB plug. Why? How can I change this? Getting very frustrated.

Disable your computer microphone, and see if your problem is corrected.
