Vhs To Dvd For Mav

Am transferring video, but no sound. I got the sound up only once so I know  I have the settings correct. Any suggestions

Which program do you have....you posted in the Copy and Convert and Easy DVD Copy forum, yet your subject talks about VHS to DVD....which do you have?

Also, what's a "Mav".
