I have turntable set up and hear the music from the record. When I follow the directions, it says select LINE but on the left of that is Conexant AMC capture, not Roxio Video Capture USB. Despite this, I tried to record and I get no audio recorded, any suggestions. Windows XP SP3 HP laptop. Thanks in advance. The left and right volume indicators are not moving so I dont know what is the problem.

How is the turntable hooked to the Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus USB Device?
Open Device Manager, expand Sound Video and Game Controllers watch as you Plugin and unplug the Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus USB Device. What drivers does it show in Sound Video and Game Controllers when the USB Device is plugged in?

A couple of things come to mind...
Unless the turntable has an amplifier, your volume will be Very Low!
You MUST select the Roxio Device:
In Device Manager under Sound Video & Game Controllers you must have 2 entries!

)Yes both of those are listed, but USB 2861 is not in the selection, only coxenent.

Conexant AMC is the only choice when I hit record, nothing else is there. I went to Device manager and disable the Conexent and tried again, and there was no selection.
If I remove and replace the Roxio device, both Roxio and UBS will show up.
This is perplexing, thanks for all the help.

It will 'show up' WHERE?
I have been playing with this some more but I can't reproduce your no Audio condition
I would sugest that you insert the USB Device before starting the up the program and make sure BOTH entries show up in Device Manager under Sound before starting the program.
