Unless the turntable has an amplifier, your volume will be Very Low!
You MUST select the Roxio Device:

The drivers are Roxio Video capture USB and USB Device.

Yes both of those are listed, but USB 2861 is not in the selection, only coxenent.

If I remove and replace the Roxio device, both Roxio and UBS will show up.
This is perplexing, thanks for all the help.

It will 'show up' WHERE?
I have been playing with this some more but I can't reproduce your no Audio condition
I would sugest that you insert the USB Device before starting the up the program and make sure BOTH entries show up in Device Manager under Sound before starting the program.

I was digging through XP a little more and there is another place I think you should check.
Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices - Audio tab - Sound Recording:
