Hi, I had a special version of Roxio 2009, bought Roxio Pro 2012, things going well but cannot find smart sound, it just didn't follow, I can add musi but cannot find all the speciall effects ( sounds).... I see the file but just cannot link it to add sound file..... do I have to reinstall 2012 and delete 2009 completely? How many times can I reinstall 2012?

There has been a discussion about what is included in the SE version, HERE, but no one has mentioned the presence or lack of SmartSound... 
If you don't see it in VideoWave - Add Background Audio, I would guess it is not part of that software Version
I would also be present on your Windows Start Menus:

When you installed 2012 Pro did you install both discs?

Well, thank you fro the reply, I see the smart sound file, but just cannot get to it, when I installe Roxio Pro 2012, I used only the first CD, then the next day, i put the next CD in, that could be my mistake
1)Can I re-intall Roxio completely, start over and install the 2 CDs ?

SmartSound is installed from the 2nd disc? Did you install that?

I did but not immediately.I put in the second cd on a coupl of days after, my mistake, I hesitate to reinstalle the whole thing, I,M affraid that I have so many installation with the CD...

Use Explorer and look at Disc 2. Is it there?
