I have win7, I originally installed VHS to DVD, and it worked fined - then I download the upgrade VHS to DVD3, now I have nound from my player when I view it first, and when I tried to record it the only sound I got was from my mic and this is whar recorded. Now when I view my mic open up and that is all I hear. Help please! I have tried to find the answer but I can not find any and I can't find any setting to change that might correct it so what can I do????

Since you have Win7, my first guess would be the Mixer... 
With the program running, click on the Speaker Icon
Check to make sure the Program is not muted or the recording Volume turned down:
Also you will have to turn off your Mic or disable it!
