I'm using Creator 2012. I'm trying to burn a video to dvd, but I want to do it so that there are no menus to navigate. ( I want the video to immediately play, like a vcr tape when you hit play) In earlier versions of Creator, there was an option to do this using MyDVD Express. I can't seem to find this option in Creator 2012. Can this be done?

The option is still there in myDVD just like in earlier versions except that myDVD Express has been dumped because of its limited features.
You can select DVD, no menus when you first launch myDVD or you can set it from File/New Production

Ok, I see the option now when you first launch MyDVD. Its on the same menu as when you have to choose between a DVD, Blu-ray, 3d, etc.

...and should you forget it or miss it at that one place, you can start a New Project within MyDVD from the Menu:
However, once you have created a project, you cannot change it to No Menu project easily

The designers of this program should have it default with no menu and if a person wants a menu, then choose one.

You CAN set the Default you want... If you set the 'Exclude disc Menu...' check box as desired, then put a check mark in 'Don't show this on start-up'... When you click the Type of project
(it can be reset in the menu)
I have mine set for DVD - w/Menu, so it loads and IF I want something else, I have to go through the File-New Project menu...
It isn't an easy thing to change. If you have built a complex menu structure with or without Chapter Menus & Unlinked Buttons, do you really want a computer making the choices of what it thinks you want to do without them
