Hi, any body had this problem?  The error reads:

"Could not record the disc because of a Mac OS Error.
Result Code = -2009"

I'm trying to burn a Video CD.  Do the files need to be in a special
format?  They are mpegs.

thanks, any feedback greatly appreciated!

Rusty

I also have this problem. Trying to get a Quicktime movie (.MOV) with a video track and a subtitle text track onto a Video-CD. When I push the Record button, I get the -2009 error. Any solution to this?

Rusty,

As I said, I also had this problem, but I found a solution. If the movie you wanted to burn is a Quicktime movie with multiple tracks, it should be converted to a single track movie first. Open the source movie, open the Movie Properties dialog and see what the content is. If it has more than one track, select Export... in Quicktime Player. All tracks should now be merged together. Validate the target movie file first.

Now drag this single track target movie to Toast 6 and burn. My Toast is now encoding his first SVCD movie.

BTW, I didn't find this myself. The thing about the single track movie file was given to my on the Video forum of the Dutch site MacOSX.nl
