Need assistance / counsel in having Roxio VCR to DVD software will not recognize my Sony Hi8 Handycam video. I have connected the A/V cable to the S-video coverter using Dual RCA (Phono) Male to Female
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
FYI - Converting my older VHS-C tapes was a breeze...hoping for same with newer Hi-8 Sony handycam?

Since the Sony TRV19 is a digital camcorder you should be using the Firewire connection (Sony calls it i.LINKŪ DV Interface(1) (IEEE1394)).

Just want to double check .......you have connected the Video Out (Yellow) and Audio Out (red or white) from your Sony unit, to the Roxio unit, correct.
And you have verified that you are getting a good signal out of the handycam (plug it into a TV).
